The NEX-5RL from Sony is a compact digital camera with interchangeable lenses that deliver high-quality shots worthy of an SLR camera. What's more, with a 16.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, the NEX-5RL is compatible with all Sony type E lenses.

The 5RL version of the NEX features high-precision automatic focusing with contrast and phase detection, along with subject tracking and a style control wheel. The burst mode captures every detail at 10 fps with extreme accuracy.

Meanwhile, with a 16-50 MM stabilised lens, the NEX-5RL has a wide focal range from 24 MM wide-angle to 75 MM standard.

The NEX5RL has a large, tilting 3-inch touch screen to frame shots perfectly, even in full sunlight. Plus, WiFi and DLNA connections mean it's easy to transfer images to a computer or compatible media centre TV.

Sony's NEX-5R also features a range of creative modes, including panorama shots to capture landscapes in 12,416 x 1,856 pixels, and an HD video shooting mode to record footage in 1920 x 1080 pixels. You can then play these sequences back on a TV using the HDMI connection.
